A couple weeks ago, we attempted our very first family outing as a family of FIVE. Yikes, family of FIVE, that sounds scary. :) We decided to venture up the mountain and check out the 2010 Breckenridge Snow Sculpture Competition. We actually made it out of the house in record time. {which is pretty amazing with double diaper duty and feeding three hungry kiddos in the morning} Once we got up the mountain, we all needed lunch! So, we stopped for some yummy mexican before checking out the snow sculptures. We couldn’t have picked a better day. It was sunny and gorgeous. We walked around and were just amazed by all the hard work and detail that went into each sculpture. Our favorite had to have been the Lithuanian sculpture for the amazing detailed pattern on the entire thing! Check out the photo of the peace sign hand below. {oh, and I later found out, they WON first place in the competition. It was definitely deserved!} We had such a great time! And I can happily say that Zach and I survived! Here are a few photos of our crazy adventure. Enjoy!
