last week, zach and i took the boys for a little drive to do some location scouting.  we came across this great spot and zach did a little mini session with coda and holden.  i love how holden has his tongue sticking out in every picture.  what a goof!!

looking through the archives…

zach and i have been looking through all of our past weddings and bringing them back to life!  you always find all these amazing images that you forgot you even took in the first place.  and this being our “slow” season, we decided to do some much needed website updates.  soon to come…hopefully.  in the mean time, enjoy a few wedding photos from the past.

take a look at this gorgeous image of the bride walking down the aisle from a wedding back in 2007.

and i love this image of the wedding party from a wedding in 2006.

and one last image to leave you with with from another wedding in 2007.  i love the tree in this image, this would look amazing as a large canvas up on their walls.

Breckenridge snow sculpture competition // family fun

A couple weeks ago, we attempted our very first family outing as a family of FIVE.  Yikes, family of FIVE, that sounds scary.  :)  We decided to venture up the mountain and check out the 2010 Breckenridge Snow Sculpture Competition.  We actually made it out of the house in record time.  {which is pretty amazing with double diaper duty and feeding three hungry kiddos in the morning}  Once we got up the mountain, we all needed lunch!  So, we stopped for some yummy mexican before checking out the snow sculptures.  We couldn’t have picked a better day.  It was sunny and gorgeous.  We walked around and were just amazed by all the hard work and detail that went into each sculpture.  Our favorite had to have been the Lithuanian sculpture for the amazing detailed pattern on the entire thing!  Check out the photo of the peace sign hand below.  {oh, and I later found out, they WON first place in the competition.  It was definitely deserved!}  We had such a great time!  And I can happily say that Zach and I survived!  Here are a few photos of our crazy adventure.  Enjoy!

float wraps // new product

WOW!  I love these amazingly gorgeous metallic float wraps.  I’m so excited that we will now be offering these to all of our clients.  Whenever we decide to start offering up a new product to our clients, we must must must check them out ourselves.  It’s an absolute necessity for us to make sure they live up to all of our standards before putting them into your {our clients} hands.  We recently ordered these amazing float wraps.  We wanted to have a baby photo of each of our boys, and I love how these turned out.  And, then we just had to print one of the fabulous images from our session with Heather Lilly.  I’m going to try and showcase some of our amazing products that we have to offer on our blog.

meet Ollie T

IMG_0404IMG_0437IMG_0439

here he is!  mr. oliver thomas.  ollie arrived late last night at 10:55pm weighing in at 8 lbs 9 oz and 20.5 inches long.  we are so happy and excited to have him here.  he’s got it in for himself when he gets home {or maybe zach and i have it in for ourselves} with his two big brothers running around.  it’s a good thing he was so big!  be sure to stay tuned to the blog, as we’ll be posting newborn photography as well as photos of the whole clan, i’m sure.

kenzie + john // mexico

i’ve been wanting to post these ever since we got back from mexico.  life just gets crazy and i forget.  :)  anyway.  i love these images of john + kenzie.  now, they are NOT engagement photos.  just fun “dating” photos.  but it was so much fun to do a little mini session out on the beach!  we don’t really get that opportunity here as colorado wedding photographers.  so… enjoy.  and if you are planning a destination wedding and are looking for a wedding photographer, feel free to contact us [theINbox {at} revertphoto {dot} com].  we love to travel!

cara + andres // downtown denver

we totally lucked out sunday with the weather!  it’s been so so so cold here in Denver.  i was getting a little nervous about our upcoming shoot.  i’m not such a fan of the cold!  but, when cara and andres met up with us at union station it was beautiful out!  we wondered around downtown shooting wherever the mood hit us.  we had a blast and got some awesome images. cara and andres were so easy to photograph.  they were just so at ease with each other.  it’s so awesome when you get to meet a couple that you can just tell are so in love!  i mean, look at them, aren’t they so cute together!

cara and andres, we’re really excited to be a part of your wedding in Estes this june!  and a big thanks to debbie over at Save the Date Events for introducing us.
