Bayshore is gearing up for another exciting summer – and that includes a new Sprecher Taproom moving in next to The Yard outdoor gathering space this month.
The new Sprecher Taproom will move into a portion of the space at 5689 N. Bayshore Drive, adjacent to The Yard central green space, beginning Wednesday, May 17. The location previously served as the home for The Tap Yard beer garden and a prior Sprecher Restaurant & Pub from 2013 through early 2019.
Open Wednesdays through Sundays, the new Sprecher Taproom will feature several beer and soda options from the local craft brewery along with a menu of snacks including giant soft pretzels, various types of popcorn and snackable cheeses.
"Glendale is our brewery’s official home, and we are excited to again be partnering with Bayshore to offer our great products to the people of Greater Milwaukee," said Sharad Chadha, Sprecher chief executive officer and president, in a release. "There is nothing better in summer than coming out to a free concert and enjoying one of our great craft beers or sodas. It’s a true Wisconsin treat!"
“The Sprecher Taproom is the perfect addition to create a lighthearted, lively environment for our guests and community,” said Mary Mokwa, Bayshore senior general manager, in the release. "Sprecher will be a great fit to help curate an energetic summer environment where our guests can truly take advantage of everything Bayshore has to offer."
The new Sprecher Taproom will be open Wednesdays through Sundays starting on May 17. For more information on the new location, visit Bayshore's website. And what's coming next door in The Yard, check out the lineup for Bayshore's Sounds of Summer live summer music series here.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
