It's time for Dining Month, presented by Deer District and its spooky Halloween-themed alter ego, Fear District. Throughout the month of October, we'll be serving up fun and fascinating content about all things food. The signature dish, however, is our 2019 Best of Dining poll, who's winners we will dish out all month long. Get hungry, Milwaukee!
Lake Park Bistro
If you're gonna go out for a fancy dinner, plus spend the money that tends to accompany, you want to get the best bang for your buck – and for your taste buds. And for OnMilwaukee readers, for the second straight year, Lake Park Bistro is the finest of the fine dining in Milwaukee.
The French restaurant from the Bartolotta catalogue of culinary treasures has won over Brew City diners with its gorgeous view, its high-class yet still warmly comfortable kitchen atmosphere and, of course, its scrumptious menu of French treats old and new, savory and sweet. No wonder it won by a luxurious landslide.
But while Lake Park Bistro claimed the gold, there's still gold-medal level fine dining throughout the rest of the category – from Sanford to Eddie Martini's to Carnevor and Ardent — to say nothing of Lori's pick of Bacchus or the OnMilwaukee editors' pick, Amilinda. It would appear Milwaukee is truly spoiled for options when it comes to spoiling their friends or family on a fancy night out.
