In case Brewers fans didn't have enough to look forward to with the start of the second half of play and an intense playoff push in the works, the team today already revealed its regular season schedule for 2024.
The 2024 slate will be bookended by the New York Mets, apparently, as next year's regular season will throw out its first pitch in the Big Apple with a three-game series starting on Thursday, March 28, then wrap up at home against those very same Mets on Sept. 27-29. In between those two Mets series, the Brewers will play their home opener on Tuesday, April 2 against their midwestern rivals from the AL, the Minnesota Twins; welcome the likes of the New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays to town; and have a full week of Chicago visitors, as they'll host the Chicago Cubs followed immediately by the Chicago White Sox on May 27 through June 2.
And, of course, there's much more – so with no futher ado, here's the Brewers' regular season schedule coming your way next year:
For more information on the Milwaukee Brewers' 2024 slate, visit the team's website.
As for the current campaign, the Brewers will start their playoff push back up after the All-Star Break on Friday night, with a critical three-game road series against the Cincinnati Reds – who currently sit just one game up on the Crew in the NL Central standings. Will the Brew Crew be able to overcome the red-hot Reds and return to the playoffs? Will pitching prove to be more important than hitting? And will the St. Louis Cardinals do their usual St. Louis Cardinals thing where they win, like, 44 games in a row and miraculously make the playoffs? Let's watch!
Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more updates as baseball gets back into the swing of things.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
