The Milwaukee Bucks are back in the postseason, and that can only mean two things: Giannis dunking on fools and playoff watch parties returning to Deer District, starting with the team's first-round series against either the Miami Heat or Chicago Bulls.
The festivities – starting with Sunday's Game 1 at 4:30 p.m. against Miacago – will be less expansive for the first round than the jumbo-sized playoff parties of recent seasons past, focusing its early watch party festivities in The Beer Garden, aka the partially covered alley in between The MECCA and Punch Bowl Social. The space's giant TV screen will serve as the lone outdoor viewing location during Milwaukee's first-round series. The Beer Garden space will also showcase the Tanduay Tiki Hut, serving up tropical drinks and more, to go along with its giant TV screen.
The watch party space will be open two hours before tipoff for home playoff games – so, in Sunday's case, The Beer Garden area will open at 2:30 p.m. In the case of postseason bouts on the road (Games 3, 4 and potentially 6 for round one) the viewing parties will begin letting people in one hour before the start of the game. No tickets will again be necessary to get into the first-round postseason watch parties.

As for what's happening across the plaza inside Fiserv Forum, the Bucks will tip-off their latest run for an NBA title against Chiami at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 16. As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
