It's been about a month since Crafty Cow opened its doors at 6519 W. North Ave., offering Wauwatosa residents a taste of their stuffed and over-the-top burgers, fried chicken and creative takes on comfort food classics.

But beginning this Saturday, the location will add another tasty feather to its hat: brunch.

“I’m really excited to introduce brunch,” notes co-owner Devin Eichler. “There aren’t many brunch spots in the vicinity, so we’re looking forward to bringing something new and different to the area.”

On the menu

Brunch at the Wauwatosa location will feature a wide assortment of offerings, including mimosas aplenty. Choose from classic, blood orange or pineapple ($6.50 each). Order an entree and you can also grab up bottomless tableside mimosas for just $18 per person.

There are also house bloodies made with housemade mix, house veggie-infused vodka, and topped off with a pickle, olive, cheese curd, bacon and (of course) a chaser of Crafty Cow Lager ($11).

You'll find a Crafty take on avocado toast featuring a cheddar and onion bialy topped with avocado, tomato, fried eggs, crispy brussels sprouts, bacon and hot sauce hollandaise ($13.50); and breakfast poutine featuring crisp tater tots piled high with cheese curds, buttermilk biscuits, fried eggs, sausage and gravy ($11).

There's also Crafty Cow’s popular chicken and waffles featuring Belgian waffles topped with fried chicken and a side of maple syrup ($13.50), which you can also gussy up with fried eggs, sausage and gravy for just $3 more.

In addition to the brunch menu, guests can also order from the full regular menu featuring burgers, tacos, sandwiches and fried chicken.

Crafty Cow offers brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
