This morning we shared the news that Drink Wisconsinbly, the brand founded in 2013 by Richard Lorbach, would be opening a new "mercantile pub" in the Entertainment Block adjacent to Fiserv Forum.
But, there's more to the story.
After three years in its location at 135 E. National Ave., the Drink Wisconsinbly Pub will be closing its Walker's Point pub at the end of the year to accommodate the move to the new Downtown location.
Beginning Dec. 12, the Drink Wisconsinbly Pub will be open Wednesday through Saturday only. It will also shut down normal kitchen operations. In lieu of the regular food menu, it will offer nightly drink specials along with a complimentary buffet from 6 to 8 p.m.
Drink Wisconsinbly will also be open on Monday, Dec. 31 for a final day of service in Walker's Point. Be sure to stop by and enjoy a Soul Boxer bubbler old fashioned.
