You probably didn’t know that May 19 was National Pizza Party Day. But now that you do, you’ll understand why Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria is celebrating.
On May 19 the family-owned Chicago-based pizza restaurant will offer a free slice of deep dish pizza to the first 250 guests at each Milwaukee area location beginning at 11 a.m. (The promo lasts through 1 p.m., but only if the supply of pizza allows).
But that's not all.
To sweeten the deal, they will also be giving away one $250 pizza party grand prize at each location. To qualify, stop by any Milwaukee area location on May 19, scan the QR code displayed in the store and enter. Additional details are available at loumalnatis.com/pizza-party.
If you’re feeling particularly festive, you can also support Lou Malnati’s movement for an official deep dish pizza emoji. Deep Dish fans and emoji enthusiasts alike can visit DeepDishEmoji.com to vote for their favorite Deep Dish emoji design, then sign the official Change.org petition, to help get a deep dish pizza emoji added to the universal emoji keyboard later this year.
Participating Lou Malnati’s locations include the dine-in restaurant in Brookfield (15795 Bluemound Rd.); plus the carry-out and delivery locations in Fox Point (8799 N. Port Washington Rd.), Greenfield (4751 S. 76th St.), Oak Creek (8171 S. Howell Ave.) and Waukesha (2720 N. Grandview Blvd.).
