What do Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Dorothy Vaughn, Thelma, Louise and Dolly Parton have in common other than they're a bunch of bad-ass women? They are also the subjects of films being shown at the Iron Horse Hotel in honor of Women’s History Month.
Every Monday night in March from 6 to 9 p.m. The Iron Horse will host a free pivotal women's film and a pre-show Q&A session with a local "boss lady" in the lobby. Plus, happy hour food and drink specials will be available during the event that's , by the way, open to both men and women.
Here's the schedule:
- Monday, March 4: "RBG" with OnMilwaukee Senior Writer/Editorial Manager Molly Snyder (Hey, that's me!)
- Monday, March 11: "Hidden Figures" with BID Manager at North Avenue/Fond du Lac Marketplace Robin Reese
- Monday, March 18: "Thelma & Louise" with media personality Elizabeth Kay of 99.1 The Mix and WISN 12
- Monday, March 25: "9-to-5" with Lottie Royten of Lottie Lillian Photography
