It was big news this summer when Holey Mackerel!, the mini golf course and family entertainment center opened in the former River Falls Family Fun Center at 5401 W. Layton Ave. in Greenfield.
And while the season has ended for the venue’s mini golf and batting cages, there’s more good news to share! After a soft opening last week, Holey Mackerel!’s bar – which Owner Trip Duval affectionately calls “The Fish Shop” – officially opens to the public tonight at 4 p.m.
“The support from the community has been so incredible since we opened in August,” says Duval. “So we made sure to prioritize the build-out for the bar so that we could continue to be a destination for folks year-round.”
At the bar, guests will find a variety of beverage options include six beers on tap, six tap cocktails and a grab and go case featuring additional beer options, plus seltzers, canned cocktails and non-alcoholic options.
The bar also features a collection of arcade games (including Pop-A-Shot, pinball, air hockey and darts), so it’s a fun stop for kids of all ages.
Beginning on Friday, the Sanfelippo Christmas Tree Farm will also be set up in the Holy Mackerel parking lot selling locally grown live Christmas trees. So guests can pop by and begin their holiday season with a splash.
Inaugural hours for "The Fish Shop" are Wednesday through Sunday from 4 to 11 p.m.
