The '90s will fully be back next August as beloved pop rock group Hootie & the Blowfish and their "Summer Camp With Trucks" tour will hit the Alpine Valley stage on Saturday, Aug. 10.
To complete the nostalgia overload, the "Hold My Hand," "Only Wanna Be With You" and "Let Her Cry" hitmakers will be joined on their tour stop by Collective Soul and Edwin McCain.
Hootie & the Blowfish last came to the Milwaukee area back in 2019, hitting Alpine Valley on their "Group Therapy" tour along with fellow Y2K-era icons Barenaked Ladies. The band's famous frontman, Darius Rucker, has been to Brew City even more recently, bringing his most recent solo tour to the BMO Pavilion just this past August.
Tickets for next August's Alpine Valley show will go on sale to the general public today, beginning at 10 a.m. at the band's website or Live Nation. For more information about tickets, the show and the venue, visit Alpine Valley Music Theatre's website.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
