Pewaukee’s Good Harvest Market, located at 2205 Silvernail Rd. since 2005, has rebranded its Harvest Cafe, which will reopen on Friday, Jan. 15 as Hop Harvest & Vine Public House.
In addition to carrying on the tradition of offering breakfast and lunch on weekdays and brunch on weekends, Hop Harvest & Vine is adding a dinner menu created by Chef Erik “Mars” Mahr with all items created using 100 percent certified organic produce, all-natural pasture-raised meats and sustainably sourced seafood.
As the name suggests, Hope Harvest & Vine will feature local craft beers, kombuchas and ciders, too, as well as organic and sustainable wines, plus organic juices, smoothies and local coffees.
"It has been a lot of fun developing this menu with global and world cuisine flavors and pairing dishes with great local beers and hand-picked wines to give guests a diverse set of tastes and styles," said Mars.
Renovations on the cafe, located in the Good Harvest Market – which specializes in natural and organic, local and gluten-free foods – began last summer with a patio refresh, the construction of a pergola and hexagonal planter bench and the addition of new tables and seating.
In addition, a series of walking trails were added in the adjacent wetlands and winter snowshoeing and crosscountry skiing are welcomed there.
Inside, work wrapped up in late December to readorn the space in earth tones and a mix of modern and industrial decor.
“We are delighted with how the space turned out,” said Joe Nolan, co-owner of Good Harvest Market. “We look forward to providing our guests with a renewed dining experience. A place where you can relax, encounter familiar faces and make new acquaintances with great food, high quality drinks and pleasant surroundings.”
