Cream puffs and puppets: a winning combination, apparently, as the Wisconsin State Fair announced comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham will headline its Main Stage for the second straight year.
Dunham and his puppet friends will bring their new "Still Not Canceled" tour on Saturday, Aug. 5.
Dunham previously headlined the State Fair last year as well as in 2019. He also brought his comedy show to Fiserv Forum last February.
Tickets for Dunham's Main Stage headliner gig will go on sale beginning Friday, Jan. 27, at 10 a.m. on the Wisconsin State Fair's website. Tickets are all reserved seating, and range in price from $52 to $57 and $62.
Dunham joins country icons Alabama and Christian pop duo For King & Country as 2023 State Fair headliners – with many more to come, so stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more updates and announcements as the summer staple gets closer.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
