There aren't many scary movies, old or new, coming to Netflix for spooky season – but thankfully the list of departures leaving the Big Red Streaming Monolith in October isn't all that frightening either. 

Of course, there are some notable names off to haunt other streaming services – especially if you're into '80s comedy favorites ("Coming to America," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off") or influential throwback classics, like "Reservoir Dogs" or "Steel Magnolias." The Jamie Foxx/Tom Cruise collab "Collateral" will also hop in a cab to another service, while you'll have to swoon over Joe Wright's "Pride & Prejudice" elsewhere as well. And if you like watching '80s action heroes blow stuff up ... well, maybe find a better action franchise than "The Expendables," but they'll be around for just a little longer on Netflix too.
