We've reached the official halfway point of the 2018 Milwaukee Film Festival. But while a week of the cinema extravaganza may already be behind us, there's still so much more ahead at the film festival – today ranging from dramas from modern German masters to a divisive rap battle satire and plenty more.

Here's my three to see for Day 7:

Here's when and where to find my three to see today at the Milwaukee Film Festival:

  • "Transit" is screening at noon at the Jan Serr Studio Cinema, 2155 N. Prospect Ave., sixth floor. (And since we're past noon at posting this, you can find "Transit" again on Friday, Oct. 26 at 4 p.m. at the Oriental Theatre.)
  • "Kusama – Infinity" screens at 3 p.m. at the Jan Serr Studio Cinema.
  • "Bodied" screens at 9 p.m. at the Oriental Theatre.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
