The free hop-on/hop-off shuttle launched last autumn by the five breweries in Riverwest is swinging back around to offer the service again beginning Saturday, Sept. 9.

The Five-Three-Brew-One-Two Brewery Shuttle makes round trips between all 5 breweries – Amorphic, Black Husky, Company, Gathering Place and Lakefront – from 2 to 7 p.m. every Saturday.

The shuttle route begins at Lakefront at 2 and runs continuously on a 35-minute loop until it makes its last stop at Gathering Place at 7. The shuttle will not return to Lakefront at the end of service.

The shuttle ride is free, but, “ the Syndicate does ask that you treat the driver with respect, consume/discard all alcoholic beverages before entering the vehicle, be cool to their bartenders, and have fun!”

The Riverwest Brewing Syndicate came together in 2019 and has worked together not only on the the shuttle, but also on a number of collab beers, events and a punch card.

“Our goal is to facilitate people enjoying the Riverwest brewery experience,” said Amorphic’s Ron Hockersmith when the shuttle debuted last year. “Between the five breweries that are all putting out high quality products, there are diverse beer styles ranging from european classics and hop-forward creations, to innovative unique beers at all of the taprooms.

“In addition, every taproom has a unique vibe: one being on the river, two in a residential neighborhood, and two an industrial area. We hope to show people what Riverwest has to offer, even beyond the breweries themselves, and continue to draw more people to this exciting area.”
