Central Standard Crafthouse & Kitchen, 320 E. Clybourn St., is manifesting summer weather and the beginning of patio season with a special event on Thursday, May 12 from 6 to 9 p.m.

That's the day when co-founders Evan Hughes and Pat McQuilla be welcoming the first guests of the season onto the Crafthouse rooftop patio. But that's not all. They will also be hosting local guitarist Joe Wray for a special acoustic set which will take place as the sun sets against the Milwaukee skyline and Lake Michigan (sunset takes place at 8:05 p.m.)

Even better, attendees can enjoy the view while sipping any number of cocktails from the rooftop bar, including the Central Standard Door County Vodka mule and North Wisconsin brandy old fashioned.

“While Pat and I love tailgating, lake house and hunting seasons, our number one favorite time of year in Milwaukee is summer rooftop season,” says Hughes. “There is nothing better than gathering good friends, drinking craft cocktails and enjoying live music outdoors on a great rooftop in our city.”

Starting May 12, the Central Standard Crafthouse & Kitchen rooftop will be open to customers during regular business hours, with bartenders on duty Thursday and Friday evenings as well as all day on Saturday and Sunday.
