It’s almost Memorial Day weekend, and that means time soaking in the sun and basking in the unofficial start of summer.
If you’re looking to get out of the house, Strange Town, 2101 N. Prospect Ave., is providing all the tools needed for a Sunday Funday with their Second annual one-day Rosé Fest block party, which takes place on May 30 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The East Side restaurant will be cordoning off Windsor Place between Farwell and Prospect Avenues for the event, which will feature DJs spinning tunes all day long and Strange Town glass pours of 2020 vintage rosés, including a number of limited releases. Strange Town dishes will also be available for purchase, plus NA beverages and beer fom Dead Bird Brewing.
There will also be food and drink offerings from Twisted Plants, Ruby’s Bagels, Flour Girl & Flame, Riley’s Good Dogs, Pete’s Pops, Lush Popcorn, Honey Bear Baked Goods, Soul Brew and Happy Joy Candy Floss.
Additional vendors include Plume (vintage), Canni Hemp Co. (CBD), Maranta Plant Shop, Aromatic Acres (flower crowns, cut flowers, plants), Basha Harris Jewelry, Luxen Moon Flower (jewelry), Lovers Never Die (tees), Yearning Hearts Co. (jewelry), Center Street Wellness, Tarot D’Amore and Peach Beast (wearables and accessories).
