In case you missed the memo, they are playing a little football game Saturday afternoon in Green Bay.

But, the divisional playoff between the Packers and Seahawks isn't the only sporting event happening in the next few days. The Bucks, Golden Eagles, Admirals and Wave also are in action.

Here is a look at what's happening:

FRIDAY

LA-LA LAND
Even with leading scorer Michael Redd sidelined for the past few weeks, the Bucks have embarked on a hot streak. They'll be tested tonight at the Staples Center. The Lakers have won four in a row and 10 of 12 overall. But, they've also lost three in a row against the Bucks.

DROP THE PUCK
The University of Wisconsin men's hockey team got a bit stronger over the past week. Forwards Kyle Turris and Blake Geoffrion and defenseman Jamie McBain returned after playing in the World Junior Championship. The Badgers were 1-2-1 in their absence. Denver is one of tougher teams in the WCHA, so Wisconsin will need to be at full strength.

SATURDAY

WAKE UP THE ECHOES
There is plenty of history in the Marquette-Notre Dame rivalry, which returns with a 1 p.m. contest at the Bradley Center. Memories of Al McGuire and Digger Phelps and Glenn Rivers' buzzer-beater will no doubt be rekindled when the teams meet today. Marquette scored a tough victory over Seton Hall on Tuesday and is looking to build on the momentum.

PANTHERS ON THE PROWL
UW-Milwaukee, the hottest team in the Horizon League, will look to sweep a two-game trip to Indiana this afternoon. The Panthers won their sixth straight game Thursday night when Deion James scored 20 points off the bench to spark a 71-69 victory over Valparaiso.

CRUNCH TIME
The Packers play Seattle at 3:30 p.m. The key to the game will be Green Bay's protection for Brett Favre in the face of Seattle's defensive pressure. The game will be followed by the Jacksonville-New England game.

HOW ABOUT A NIGHTCAP?
The Admirals will break out some baseball-themed jerseys for their 7:30 p.m. game against Rockford. The powder blue uniforms will echo the Brewers' 1982 retro uniforms. The team will also provide winter caps with the Admirals and Brewers logo.

VALLEY OF THE SUN
The Bucks have lost 19 in a row in Phoenix. The streak probably won't end here, but with its unlikely that anyone will notice because of the Packers game.

SUNDAY

COWBOY UP
If the Packers win Saturday, they'll tune into the Dallas-New York game to find out whom they'll play for the NFC Championship. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. If the Cowboys win, the next round will be in Dallas. If the Giants and Packers win, it'll be in Green Bay.

ON THE COAST
The Wave plays at California, a game that will be broadcast by Time Warner Sports (Channel 32).
