The second annual Tiki Takedown at Turner Hall Ballroom, 1040 Vel R. Phillips Ave., takes place Sunday, April 2 at 1 p.m.
The event, presented by The Pabst Theater Group and Milwaukee Record, features a cocktail competition with tropical drinks and bright-and-sunshine-y music from DJ E.Rich.
During the fun, Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequilaria, Boone & Crockett, DanDan, Finks, Station No. 6 and more will create original tiki drinks for guests to sample and vote for their favorite libation. One lucky establishment will win the coveted Tiki Takedown trophy and Tiki Master title.
Guests will also be eligible to win a variety of prizes from participating establishments.
Bars and restaurants can still apply to participate here.
Ticket types include Designated Driver (DD) and VIP. DD tickets include entry and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages. VIP tickets include early entry, exclusive balcony access, food, complimentary coat check and a souvenir cup.
